V Nepalu je vojska uvedla policijsko uro in nadzoruje Katmandu po dveh dneh nasilnih protikorupcijskih protestov, ki so se sprevrgli v požige in nasilje. Protestniki so zažgali parlament, kar je prisililo premierja k odstopu. Indija je zaradi nemirov okrepila varnost na meji z Nepalom in uvedla omejitve prehoda.

V Nepalu je vojska uvedla policijsko uro po vsej državi in nadzoruje ulice glavnega mesta Katmandu, da bi vzpostavila red po dveh dneh nasilnih protestov, ki jih je vodila generacija Z. Nepal se sooča s politično negotovostjo in protesti, ki so izbruhnili zaradi prepovedi družbenih medijev in obtožb o korupciji. Protesti so zahtevali najmanj 30 življenj, premier KP Sharma Oli pa je odstopil. Vojska je bila napotena za vzpostavitev reda, uvedena je bila policijska ura. Nekdanji indijski ambasadorji pozivajo k pozornemu spremljanju razmer. Medtem pa v Melbournu policija opozarja na možne spopade med skrajno desnimi in skrajno levimi protestniki.

V Katmanduju so protestniki kljub policijski uri zažigali vladne urade in domove politikov. Vojska je patruljirala po ulicah, saj je država doživljala najhujše nemire v zadnjih desetletjih. Protesti so bili usmerjeni proti politikom in vladnim uradom, premier Oli pa naj bi pobegnil iz države. Po odstopu premierja Olija se je Nepal znašel v novi ustavni in politični krizi.

Po smrti 19 ljudi med zatiranjem protestov v Katmanduju je odstopil nepalski premier in minister za notranje zadeve. Protesti, ki jih vodi generacija Z zaradi nezadovoljstva z brezposelnostjo, korupcijo in politično nestabilnostjo, so bili sproženi z vladno prepovedjo družbenih medijev. Vojska je prevzela nadzor nad Katmandujem, uvedla policijsko uro in odredila prebivalcem, da ostanejo v zaprtih prostorih. Indijske obmejne države, vključno z Uttar Pradeshom, Biharjem in Zahodno Bengalijo, so v stanju visoke pripravljenosti zaradi protestov v Nepalu, ki vplivajo na trgovinske poti z Indijo.

V Nepalu so izbruhnili množični protesti, ki jih je vodila generacija Z, zaradi domnevne korupcije v vladi in nedavne prepovedi večjih platform družbenih medijev. Protesti so se sprevrgli v nasilje, pri čemer je bilo ubitih najmanj 19 ljudi, na desetine pa je bilo ranjenih. Vlada je v Kathmanduju uvedla policijsko uro, a so kljub temu izbruhnili novi protesti. Premier Oli je prepoved zagovarjal kot vprašanje nacionalne časti. Po protestih je vlada ponovno omogočila dostop do družbenih medijev.

V Franciji so izbruhnili protesti, kjer so protestniki blokirali ceste in podžigali požare, policija pa je odgovorila s solzivcem. V Nepalu je vojska prevzela nadzor nad ulicami Katmanduja, po tem ko so protesti terjali 22 življenj in povzročili odstop premierja ter zažig parlamenta. Protestniki so zažgali tudi hišo predsednika vlade.

Nepal se sooča s hudimi političnimi nemiri, ki so jih sprožili protesti proti prepovedi družbenih medijev in obtožbe o korupciji. Protesti so bili nasilni, z zažiganjem vladnih poslopij in smrtnimi žrtvami, kar je pripeljalo do odstopa premierja K.P. Sharma Olija. Vojska je prevzela nadzor nad varnostjo, poskuša pa se tudi dogovoriti z voditelji protestov o imenovanju začasnega premierja.
